Does accreditation matter in a spiritual life coaching certification program?
A question I get often from aspiring spiritual coaches is if our spiritual life coaching certification program is accredited. This certification is currently not affiliated with an external accreditation or professional body. Here’s why I choose to stand on my own and not seek external approval for what Spirit was guiding me to create in our spiritual life coaching accreditation.
Why we are NOT Accredited
At first, I did intend on getting my program accredited through the ICF. However, as I began exploring their process a series of metaphorical doors keep getting slammed in my face. The first door was that, at the time, I had over 9500 hours of documented coaching that didn’t fit there qualification process and they deemed unqualified.
I had been coaching for about 11 years at that point and was very disheartened to hear this, (but is also part of the path of a light worker- we often don’t meet others ideals or fit into structures.)
As I processed this information, I dug deep into my soul and pulled from within to realize the value and uniqueness that my program was built with.
I highly respect the ICF, and I also highly respect my spiritual calling. It was at this time that I chose to lead by example. I chose to validate myself, to stand behind my experience and to share all these spirit driven lesson from my heart. I then went on yo build a 5 month Certification program that offered exceptional results.
As I witnessed these amazing results this transformation work has brought to my students, I eventually realized I did not want to have to standardize my process and risk losing even one ounce of its magic.
After extensive research, I decided that offering this transformational work was needed now and the accreditation process would have taken me over two years to complete, delaying my ability to make the impact my heart was calling for.
I will forever stand behind this program because I know it’s a game changer and I full heartedly stand behind what I offer. It’s not for everyone, and I’m ok with that. But those who feel that echoing YES in their heart, that I get to teach fills my life with everlasting satisfaction.
While we are not officially accredited, our Spiritual Life Coaching Certification meets very high standards of quality, integrity, real life healing experience, standards of excellence, and the tools to stand up a life coaching practice upon graduation on any budget.
We are a Spiritually Led Program
Our program is built on true and deep transformation, equipping our students with a specific spiritual knowledge, spiritual mindsets, and healing skillset.
There are over 100 plus hours of training, that include reading, writing papers, shadowing coaching sessions, as well as coaching others in the cohort. This program operates with truthfulness, and all students must prove their readiness to receive this certificate by passing the final exam, and getting an 85 or higher throughout the 5 months of coursework.
While I typically March off the beaten path, I do hold a Masters degree in Transpersonal Psychology along with over 10,000 hours of 1 to 1 spiritual coaching experience working with individuals in healing trauma, inner child work, strategic life planning, spiritual development, and energy work among many other areas in life that have led others through a life transforming process.
