How to Know Your Healing is Working
One of the biggest dilemmas I see in the healing space is people trying to rush the spiritual healing process.
I often say, healing is such a pretty word, but it actually has an atrocious process. And pre-judging this process or trying to rush through the process can actually delay your healing.
It takes time to unwind, understand and process decades, or even lifetimes, of embedded patterns that have been keeping you spiraling in a loop.
And this is where trust comes in. When you know that healing takes as much time as it takes, you can also trust the process.
However, at the same time there are some telltale signs that what you are doing with your healing efforts will pay off big time in the future, even if you are not seeing any results just yet.
Here’s how you know if your healing is working:
1. You start to see the “bad” patterns as they’re happening.
This heightened awareness is the first step toward transformation. Instead of just continuing to react on autopilot, you now begin to recognize the loops and patterns that have been holding you back as they are happening. This is a great sign, because with awareness comes choice and with choice comes changes.
2. You self correct yourself after gaining awareness.
With this newfound awareness, you can pause, reflect, and choose a different response. This ability to check and correct yourself is a powerful indicator that your healing is pulling back layers that have blocked you in the past, and you are waking up more of your consciousness in the moment.
3. You end the blame game + take full responsibility for your life.
One of the most significant shifts in your spiritual healing journey is when you move from a place of blame, to one of personal accountability. You recognize that your journey is your own, that the things that happened to you are now yours to process, and you see how blame limits you. This awareness creates so much more personal power.
4. You continuously pull your power back.
You become more attuned to situations where you’ve given your power away to others, and now have so much awareness of this past habit. It is like your radar has heightened and you are always looking for your own alignment first, over people pleasing or accommodating others. This continuous reclaiming of your power, reinforces your inner strength.
5. You make choices based on alignment rather than obligation.
As you heal, your decisions are guided by what feels true and aligned with your soul, rather than what you feel you should do out of duty or pressure. Making this shift may creates some initial waves in your social pool at first, but overtime as you remain more and more aligned, it will just make sense to act from your alignment first.
Healing is not a destination but a journey.
These signs are all a great indication that you are in fact healing. While it will not always be that easy to see, I assure you – if you are seeing these signs – your work is working!
Your spiritual healing journey is assisting you to deeply release what no longer serves you, effectively making space for new energy to emerge.
As this new energy flows in, then even more things inside you will shift.
Your healing journey will take you to so many places, but one of the greatest stops is where you fall in love with who you are becoming. You feel more connected, more vibrant, and more alive. Your external world starts to reflect your inner transformation.
This is why we do the work, to begin to be a witness to miracles, synchronicities, serendipitous events, and a sense of flow in your life.
Remember, healing is not a destination but a journey.
It’s about embracing the process, celebrating your progress, and trusting that every step you take is leading you closer to your true self.
So, if your goal is to heal, know that these signs are gentle messages from the Universe that your efforts are working. Keep going, trust the process, and watch as your life transforms in the most magical ways.
